Colored Pencil
I love working with colored pencil and consider it my main medium, with my love of fiber and watercolor a close second! These examples of my artwork are created entirely of artist grade colored pencil on hot pressed watercolor or other smooth surface paper. Creating drawings in colored pencil or graphite is the starting point of all of my projects!
Botanical Illustrations
Plants and flowers from my garden are a huge source of inspiration for my drawings. Creating Botanical Illustrations allows me to fully focus on a single subject and really get to know it.
Ocean Subjects
Living on the Connecticut shoreline affords me access to some beautiful beaches and I am so inspired by all of the sea treasures I find on walks by the ocean!

Fruits & Vegetables
Other wonderful subjects to draw are fruits and veg! Any time I am at a loss for my next subject, I peruse the produce isles or the farmers markets where I am sure to be inspired!
